Head Trainer: Debbie Bucciero of Suncoast Hunters
Background Information:
Debbie began riding at the age of five years old. She began her hunter/jumper training as a young teen. In
1987 Debbie met the then well-known "Suncoast Hunters" owner/trainer Jim Brundage, and began training
with him. She quickly progressed to training horses, teaching lessons and showing customer's horses under
his mentorship.
In 1996, Debbie began her solo career and carried on the "Suncoast Hunters" name in a tribute to Jim,
following his death that year. Debbie moved the "Suncoast Hunters" to Step Ahead Stables in July 2004.
Debbie has successfully trained her "family of riders" for more than ten years. She has worked with beginner
through advanced riders and horses. Each year her riders and horses are often recipients of year-end
awards for local and rated horse shows.
Debbie is a previous board member of:
- SHSA - Sarasota Horse Show Association
- PCHA - Pinellas County Hunter Association
- CFHJA - Central Florida Hunter/Jumper Association
She also is a frequent judge at local shows around the state of Florida.
